A Wheat Jersey

I am one who really wants to see the Wild take the ice in a wheat jersey, so I made a concept for that very idea. I made a wheat version of the current 3rd jersey. I couldn't decide which looked betterm so I posted two different options for the shoulder yoke color.

An 80's Concept

Habsfan1 asks, "What if the Wild had been around earlier?" Check out this cool concept he did for the Wild as if they had been around in the 1980's. "Here are jerseys that have a style taken directly from the early 1980s. Jerseys are free of beige and are light red, light green, and yellow." Very 80's.

A Modified 3rd Jersey

Here is concept from Glen Cuthbert. He took the current 3rd jersey and made a few changes. The Minnesota script is replaced by the M logo, and the primary logo is now used as shoulder patches. Not too bad, but I prefer their current jersey.

State of Hockey Jersey

I came up with an alternate red jersey for the Wild with the State of Hockey logo. I thought it would be cool if they wore it on Hockey Day Minnesota or a special event. Just an idea I guess.

A Cool Look at a New Road Jersey

Here is a cool idea for a new road uniform, seen in video game format. This was done by goalieman40 a while ago. It is a white jersey with the same design as the Wild's current home jersey. A pretty cool look at a nice concept.

A Different Look at Wheat and Green

Here is a concept from Ryan Haslett, who runs the Hockey Jersey Concepts Blog, www.hockeyjerseyconcepts.com. He sent me this jersey idea, green with the Wild's primary logo. Notice the use of green and wheat, a nice balance. Red is kept to a minimum. I especially like the way those numbers look with that striping design below on the hem. Stay tuned for more work from Haslett in the future.

A 2004 ASG-Inspired Concept

Our first concept from a designer other than myself comes from Habsfan1. It is a green jersey with Minnesota diagonally on the front. Habsfan1 siad this concept was inspired by the 2004 All Star Game jerseys, and it is part of his NHL Alternate Jersey series. This concept was first released in January 2009. It is the first Wild concept from Habsfan1, and I hope to share more of his work later on.

"Favorite Jersey Day"

From the official Minnesota Wild website,

"Happy "Favorite Hockey Jersey" Day! As mentioned on this page earlier this week, it's Hockey Weekend Across America, and today, you were supposed to wear your favorite hockey jersey to the office or school (but I'm pretty sure there is no school in Minnesota today). Your crack Wild staff donned their hockey sweaters as you can see from the photo above. I got all John Scott on everybody and pulled on the Michigan Tech sweater. Sure, I'd rather be wearing UMD Bulldog colors, but Santa keeps forgetting to bring me a Bulldog jersey, so I decided to wear the sweater that is not a threat to UMD's run at a MacNaughton Cup this year."

Some pretty sweet jerseys there.
